Admission Process – XI Lateral Entry

To fill regular vacancies vacated by last 10^th class, candidates are invited for admission in MCJ as Lateral entry on Open Merit / Self Finance Scheme. All citizens of Pakistan can apply. There is no quota for any category in XI (Lateral Entry). College is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad.

Eligibility

• The candidate must have passed Class X at the time of admission or appearing for Annual Board Exam for Class X.
• Should be b/w 15 and 17 yrs of age on 1^st Jul of the year of admission. Waiver up to 90 days is admissible.
• The candidate must be medically fit.
• Only male can apply.

• Ineligibility               

• Withdrawn from any Armed Forces/ Provincial Govts’ cadet colleges on discp/ char.
• Overage/ Underage.
• Declared Med unfit by Med Bd.
• Submitting Tampered Certs/ Documents
• Concealment of Info in Application Form
• FEMALE candidates can not apply.

Online Submission Of Applications

      Military College Jhelum launched its “Online Submission of Applications” system in August 2016 to facilitate the desirous applicants.

  Ready to apply? Here’s your simple checklist for a smooth online registration process.

  ☐ 1. Check Your Eligibility
  Start by entering your age to confirm you meet the basic requirement.

  ☐ 2. Register & Verify Your Account

  • Fill in your basic details (Name, Father’s Name, Email, and a strong Password).

  • A code will be sent to your email. Enter it to verify your email account.

  • Login Credentials: Your Email = Username, and the Password you set.

  ☐ 3. Complete Your Application
  Login and carefully fill out the online application form with all the required details.

  ☐ 4. Pay Your Application Fee

  • After submitting the form, download the challan.

  • Print it and pay the fee at any HBL bank branch.

  ☐ 5. Download Your Roll Number Slip (Crucial!)

  • Once your fee is verified by the college, your Roll Number Slip will be available in your account.

  • You must download, print, and bring this slip to the exam center. The college will not send it to you by post.

  Please Note:

  • Application Opens: Class XI admissions begin every February/March. Watch newspapers and our website for the announcement.

  • Exam Date: The entry test is held in April/May. The exact date is given in the advertisement as well as on our website.

  • Accuracy is a Must: We verify all information at the time of interviews & admission. Incorrect or false details can lead to serious consequences, including withdrawal from the college.

Medical Exam

Candidates qualifying interviews, are issued letter for medical examination from CMH concerned.

Final Selection

• The Final Selection is made on the overall merit achieved by the candidate in the written test, interview, intelligence test and medical fitness. Mere passing the test does not entitle a candidate to admission.

• Results are confidential. Answer scripts, marks obtained, merit or position obtained will not be shown to parents / guardians. Any correspondence in this regard will not be entertained.
